The Acer Nitro MG275U X2biippx (UM.HM5AA.201) features a 27-inch widescreen IPS display with a native pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440 (WQHD).
Instead of a standard IPS panel, this has a better QD-MiniLED backlight panel with up to 1152 local dimming zones, which is what allows the panel to hold back the backlight in dark areas of the image instead of lighting the whole screen evenly. This ensures a better visual experience.
The panel has a native brightness of 500 nits, and in HDR1000 mode it reaches a peak of 1000 nits. It carries Acer’s HDR1000 designation. Response time it offers is up to 0.5ms (GTG).
For adaptive sync, it supports AMD FreeSync Premium.
Over DisplayPort the monitor is capable of running at an overclocked 210Hz (OC), while over HDMI it tops out at 144Hz. A console or any source connected by HDMI will not reach 210Hz.
The display covers 99% DCI-P3 and 95% AdobeRGB, with a factory accuracy rating of Delta E<2 offering good color reproduction.
