ASUS has listed the Vivobook 16 X1607QA-PB54 laptop ( UPC 199291625303 ), powered by the Snapdragon X X1-26-100 processor, in the US online. The price starts at $799.99 (pre-order/launch price). At the time of writing, Amazon US has listed this model as Temporarily out of Stock, although it is expected to be available soon.
The ASUS Vivobook 16 X1607QA-PB54 comes with 8GB LPDDR5X onboard RAM and a 512GB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. ASUS has also announced other models in the Vivobook 16 Snapdragon X series with 16GB RAM, which are expected to be priced higher.
The laptop features a 16-inch FHD+ (1920 × 1200) anti-glare display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It supports up to 300 nits of brightness, which should be sufficient for comfortable indoor use.
The available I/O ports include:
- 2 × USB4 Gen 3 Type-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery support (up to 40Gbps)
- 2 × USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (up to 5Gbps)
- 1 × HDMI 2.1 TMDS
- 1 × 3.5mm combo audio jack
For video calls and biometric login, the laptop features an FHD IR camera with Windows Hello support and a privacy shutter. It also includes a built-in array microphone and speakers with Smart Amp Technology.
For wireless connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) tri-band 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.3.
ASUS has equipped the Vivobook 16 X1607QA-PB54 with a 50Wh, 3-cell Li-ion battery and includes a 65W USB Type-C AC adapter.
The laptop weighs approximately 1.88kg and ships with Windows 11 Home.
