The G635LW-XS97 and G635LX-XS97 are two other US variants in the ROG Strix Scar 16 (2025) G635 series.
The ROG Strix Scar 16 G635LX-DS96 supports a maximum graphics TGP of 175W with ROG Boost (1597MHz Boost Clock + 50MHz OC, 150W + 25W Dynamic Boost). It features a 16-inch 2.5K (2560 × 1600, WQXGA) IPS display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, offering excellent color reproduction.
This variant comes with 32GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM RAM and supports up to 64GB of memory. It has one additional DDR5 SO-DIMM slot available for upgrading. For storage, the G635LX-DS96 comes with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 Performance SSD.
The RTX 5080-powered G635LW-XS97 and the higher-end RTX 5090-powered G635LX-XS97 variants come with 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 Performance SSD storage.
The available I/O ports include:
