Asus has launched the 2026 ZenScreen (MB16AHVE) USB-C Monitor in the US online. The price starts at $139.99, making it quite an affordable and easy upgrade for your multitasking setup. Adding a second monitor to your daily workflow can do wonders. At the time of writing, Amazon US has listed this model in stock (shipping August 31 – September 8).

It features a 16-inch (15.6-inch viewable) Full HD IPS display with an anti-glare coating to cut out reflections, making it easy to view indoors near windows and other light sources. It has an ultra-slim and thin design.
This monitor can be powered with power from the laptop’s USB-C connection itself, so you don’t have to use a separate cable to turn it on. Thanks to whoever invented USB Type-C Power Pass Through!
Since this is an IPS panel, it offers excellent 178°/178° viewing angles. The maximum brightness it supports is 250 nits, which is bright enough to use indoors. There is no fancy 120Hz refresh rate or 1ms response time on this monitor, as this is not targeted at gamers, even though since this is a USB Type-C product, I can see many potentially using it for that by connecting their gaming devices to the monitor via Type-C. The maximum refresh rate supported is a typical 60Hz, while the response time is 5ms (GTG).
When it comes to ports, it has 2 x USB-C (DP Alt Mode – Full Function ) and 1 x Mini HDMI. The maximum Power Pass-Through supported is 65W. There is no built-in speaker available on this model. The maximum power consumption of this monitor is 6W.
Asus ZenScreen (MB16AHVE) USB-C monitor supports tilt adjustments from +15° to +35°. It comes with DisplayWidget Center software, which can automatically sense the display orientation and switch the monitor between landscape and portrait modes.
