HP has launched their Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP 4801f printer model ( Product # 67Q05A#BGJ ) in the US online. The pre-order MSRP price for this model is $989.00 ( USD ). At the time of writing, Amazon US has listed this model as coming soon.

The MFP 4801f can handle print, copy, scan and fax, built around a laser print engine with 4 print cartridges ( one each of black, cyan, magenta and yellow ). It has 4 GB DDR4 memory. Resolution is handled by HP ImageREt 2400, with Enhanced (600 x 600 dpi), Fine Lines (1200 x 1200 dpi) and Quickview (300 x 300 dpi) modes.

Print speed is rated at up to 35 ppm in both black and color, in normal mode. First page out is quoted as fast as 5.9 seconds for black and 6.5 seconds for color from ready state.
HP rates the monthly duty cycle at up to 100,000 pages, which is the maximum the hardware will pass rather than a workload to plan around. The figure to actually build a deployment on is the recommended monthly page volume of up to 4,200 pages.
For display it has a 4.3 inch Color Graphics Anti-Glare Display (CGD) with a touchscreen, running at 480 x 272 pixels resolution.
When it comes to paper handling, it ships with a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, a 250-sheet input tray and a 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), feeding a 150-sheet output bin.
Two trays are standard and the machine takes up to four, so there is room for two optional trays. Duplex printing is automatic, and envelope input capacity is up to 15 envelopes.
